    My Story:
Selkie was the first dog I ever owned, my parents never had dogs. She was a headstrong samoyed and taught me everything I know. We had our ups and downs, but eventually we worked out a good working relationship. She loved to perform so I trained her everything in the book and we did some film and TV auditions. Her career was a short one, one day she just decided that in front of the camera was not for her, she sat down in a huff and refused to go on set, so that was the end of that. I didn't push her and we continued to perform at home and on the field for our own amusement. Later I rescued a Lancashire Heeler who had significant health and behaviour issues, poor Jackjack finally left for the bridge in 2005. Next came Pharaoh my lurcher. Have to say fabulous dog, but bless him not the brightest star in the sky. He's awfully nice, but a little dim. Lastly but not least, when I lost Jackjack, my partner at the time requested that he have a dog of his own rather than 'share' mine, so he went and got Kismet, the Huskamute, she has had her problems, not the easiest of dogs to look after and when my OH left me, he left her with me (so much for HIS dog) but I love her and I couldn't ask for a more special dog. She has her troubles and issues and wont take any crud from anybody, such a madam... but she's my little madam and I love her...

My darling Selkie went to the bridge this year 2011. The world is a darker place without her light shining in it.

New rescue puppy Dexter has just entered the picture March 2013, Selkie led me to him, a giant puppy Samoyed Cross
