A few questions about Dachshunds.... General Chat

    A few questions about Dachshunds....

    At what age do they....

    start to bark?
    cock their leg(if indeed they do)?
    are fully grown?

    Puppies start to bark from around 4-6 weeks old. Leg cocking, well I've had puppies as young as 9 weeks do it, usually though it's about the 6 month mark. As to fully grown well that can depend on which size, coat type and indeed line you get one from but I would reckon about 10 months they'd be the size they are going to be then they start to fill out.
