Affenpinschers and Pomeranians Questions

A friend of mine is looking to get a toy breed and has narrowed down her search to an affenpinscher or pom (I have also suggested brussles griffons).

So, can any one tell me a bit more about the dogs, and I also said that I would help out looking at good breeders.
