Hi, I was wondering what the difference between the German Spitz, Japanese Spitz, Indian Spitz, and American Eskimo was, in terms of appearance and temperament? They all look like the same dog to me!
And Pomeranians and Volpino Italianos and Samoyeds...Do they just all come from the same gene pool? If thats the case, should they all have similiar temperaments and appearances?

I'm embarrassed to say I've never heard of half these dogs mentioned,and the hounds on Katie's thread.think I need to do some research!
