English Setter - Is there a working type? Questions

    Not too bad, a 4th in yearling and a 3rd in graduate, with the exception of a couple that were faces so would get pulled out, there are some nice dogs in Hen's age group so I was happy with the result. Also, he wasn't as scared as he had been at the last show, so that made me happier too :grin:

    Thanks all. I have seen some working setters who aren't as nice as her (even though I am biased), but she is a nice build, and not so slight as some can be. By far the smallest setter, seems to be the working irish. I do like the irish but too small for me.

    She is from the Upperwood kennels.

    Thanks all! I knew I'd get a proper answer here! Helen, she did look a bit like Dotty, especially with her head shape and coat, but I think this one was smaller. Anyway, its good to know I'm not crazy and they do exist!!! Thanks for all the lovely pics! I have to say I think I prefer the harrier version but I like a fluffy dog myself.
