    Frenchie pup has runny nose

Hi all, my 11 week old Frenchie has developed a runny nose and I'm not sure if I should be worried. He's had it all day. It's a clear liquid not cloudy or yellow. He is scratching/biting himself a bit more than usual but I know that can be common in Frenchies. He doesn't appear to have any discharge from his eyes except the usual when he wakes up from a nap. He had his 2nd set of vaccines 1 week ago. He doesn't really have any other symptoms ... he's eating, drinking (although a little less today) has normal bowel movements, is still playful. He has been a little more tired today than usual but he was very 'busy' yesterday. I have read lots about the early stages of distemper so have got myself worried. I'm not sure whether to visit the vet or if I'm overreacting. Any advice would be great. Thanks

It doesn't sound like distemper, but could be a reaction to the vaccine - or a seasonal allergy. It's always worth having a vet check with a baby, if only for your own peace of mind.

Please let us know how you get on and what the vet says. Thanks.
