Greek Hound - possibly Photos

Hi this is Bran who was dumped in Greece crippled with arthritis. I`ve had him a couple of years and he`s a happy boy now. I`ve never had a houndy type before - is it normal to have to spend 2 years teaching Sit? Will I ever get on to Down?

prehaps he doesn't speak english??
aw he is lovely.. maybe it the arthritis that stops him from sitting?? when my boy was old he could stand or lie down sitting was too hard for him.

I have a short-haired pointer, and I do get people asking if they`re the same breed. Bran acts more beagle than pointer, so I assume he`s more Hound than Gundog. Not that it matters
He`s from Skiathos Shelter, via Greek Animal Rescue who do wonderful work over there. Like the Spanish hunting dogs, the Greek ones get dumped when they can`t work any more.

Pointer? looks like the Pointers they hunt with in Greece/Crete etc.. Well done for rescuing him.
