Well Mouse and me visited the wife today. Later 2 of her daughter and the grandkids arrived as did a good friend. We also visited a few of the other patient while we where there and it really seemed to brighten there days. I could have not been more pleased with how he acted there. Mom Awake up I'm here MASTIFF POWERED WHEELCHAIR You called my name, what you want dad. Ok I'll relax then. Nurse was coming with meds and friend was pushing on him to move. He gave the What? look. Making sure no one is hiding in the bathroom Sucking up more loving before we left.
I really love the idea of a Mastiff powered wheelchair. My Bouvier friend used to have a harness trained male who transported all the cages and bags into the shows for us. I had to trot to keep up with him! I think that dogs really flourish when they have a job to do. (I haven't found anything that Merry can do yet - unless you count being a hot water bottle!)
Such lovely photographs of Mouse - if anyone can help your wife recover it will be Mouse - they always did seem like two halves of a whole. Much love to both of them from Tikva and me - with prayers that your wife recovers well and as soon as possible - and massive hugs for Mouse.
TY All. We visited again today for a couple hours, funny part was Mouse spent a lot of time being petted and loving up to the nurses and staff. One said he was as much therapy to them as he was to the wife and other patients he visited. The activities director said once the wife leaves he could come back anytime to visit.
