    i was looking last night at some gordon and english setter web sites - kind of getting broody!!

    i just adore the gordons.

    I love the setters too, but don't Gordons have the most enormous heads!!!! Remember having some in when I had work experience at a local kennels and I just couldn't get over the size of their heads!!! :shock:

    Sorry I know I said that twice! :lol:

    Lovely pics of the Reds, love em and have a bit of a thing about the Red and Whites too! :grin:

    oh yeah we shouldn't forget about the red and whites!!
    REALLY don't see many of those around now. sad really cos they're very nice.

    Don't actually know about the heads on the gordons as i've never met one!

    Lol at Eloquence.. if yours are the right weight, and get good exercise so have the right muscuature, a bath then a good trim would have yours looking like that in a couple of hours. :)

    And yes I do go on the Irish Setters UK and Ireland site. I can't stop checking the puppy list. :roll:

    omg - the puppy list!!!!!!

    i can't believe how long it is at the mo, i'm like you, always on there checking the puppy list and looking at the pics!

    I have a soft spot for irish setters as a friend had one when we were growing up.

    I was out grouse shooting over irish setters in August (was only helping though) and seeing the working lines work was fantastic. They are a lot slighter than the show. I think they are too small really. They are incredibly fast though.

    miss potter - i love those pics! the last one is great, looks simalar to one i took of jazzie back in the summer - its the whole tongue thing you know!!
