Butternut squash! Six ginormous ones and a seventh much smaller baby. All we need now is lots of sun and dry weather to turn them from a dark green to a glorious orange! And for the past few weeks I've been slaving over a hot saucepan preparing tomatoes for the freezer. What a job! I grew so many (well over 15 kg) and I'm so sick of the sight of tomatoes I don't want ever to see another one!
Wow, they will keep you going for long time. Talking of tomatoes, I kept wondering where they were disappearing to till I caught my young son throwing them for the dogs, to play oh what fun they were having.
