    lab mixed with what?!

    Hi all, I am trying to figure out the mix of my new pup! He is 18 weeks and 20 pounds. The vet says lab mix. What do you think he is mixed with? Hound? Beagle? Pointer? He has webbed feet and straight long tail.

    Think it will be easier once pup is around year old to identify what mix pup is

    I look forward to seeing how he turns out - he's lovely! It will be interesting to see how long his legs are when he's grown. His head/face reminds me of something but I can't think what! Did you see mum?

    From side pup looks bit like a Doberman or Dachshund, what ever he is he's definitely got some Labrador in him.

    That's what the face reminded me of - Doberman! If he turns out to have long legs perhaps he's got a bit of Dobe in him, and if his legs are very short it must be Dachshund!

    But I agree with everyone, there's a lot of Labrador in him.

    Possibly Lab x GSP, gundog mixes are fairly common.

    There is a dobe look to that face. Is there any tan ?

    He's quite like my Lab x Pointer at that age although it's not always easy to tell at that age.
