I used to deliver animal feeds for a job and there was a place near carbridge that had munsterlanders, what lovely dogs:)

Tried to convince my mum to get one, the guy gave me details of munsterlander rescue society and everything, but mum had just lost her dog ( a lab 13 yrs) and wasn't ready to get another.

But great friendly lumps of lovliness:)

They are a gorgeous looking dog, but very worky and very hardy (also seem to be a bit on the silly side!)

Here are some pictures I took from a shot over training session (not great, apologies):

If you met Wynter the yound male LM on DD, my friend(who had a stroke in Nov) last year bred him. His sister Hattie is soooooooo gorgeous she should have been at Crufts, but her (human)mum still isn't well enough :-(

This is Hattie when she was Best Puppy Bitch at Leeds Ch Sh

    I had a Large Munsterlander :007:
She was the very sweetest bitch Ever! and soooo clever. I never had a day of worry with her. We got her at 7 weeks old and she died age 15 yrs, 2 yrs ago

We were given her, free as the breeder was a friend of ours and I lent her my car when all of the puppies got sick at about 3weeks old and had to be driven to the vets. (I cannot remember what was wrong, but all 11 survived).

My Tara was, however, plagued with poor hips and could not fulfill her original working purpose. She was diagnosed at 8 months with hip displasia as well as a miss-placed bladder (which made her leak a bit). However, she won a puppy natural-ability HPR gundog event at 10 months and always enjoyed scent trails, retrieving and swimming. She had an excellent recall, even if on a scent. I do not know how good they are generally but our Tara was such a sensitive and willing to please dog.

We kept her weight to a minimum, exercised her well, fed her a raw diet and she did herself proud. Always gentle with children and puppies and Never had a fight with any other dog.

    In her twilight years
