Thanks Kirsty, they are both entered at Crufts, I haven't been showing as waiting for a double knee cap replacement, fortunately they both qualified at one champ show so didn't have to take them anywhere else. I shall be showing Hen at Crufts but Elkie's breeder will show her for me, I hope to be back out with them once I'm mobile again
Do they take much grooming Sheree? Post more please then if it's ok with you I'd like to add at least one to the main profile (Just a quick note for everyone else - if you can please post photos in your breed sections with the 'photos' category, I can (when I get some time) more easily look through them and hopefully pick out some of your photos )
Hen takes forever to groom, he has a thyroid problem now so his coat is like cotton wool, he has to be brushed every day to get the matts out, a shame really as he had a beautiful glossy coat. Elkie is a doddle as her coat is quite short, (the bitches tend to have much less coat than the dogs). For a show I have to spend about a week getting Hen into a proper trim, Elkie is just a day or so. I'll dig some more photos out tomorrow and put them on here , you are welcome to use them if they are any good
Thanks Sheree Sounds like they take quite a bit of grooming - I might have to resist in that case (I can barely groom myself!) Thanks for the photos too - I will keep an eye out for them. Don't forget to upload a new avatar while you're at it
