When blue is excited he sometimes shakes , his done it since he was a puppy . like if his getting his dinner , it's always around the stuff he loves so I'm guessing it is a happy tremble.
Hi Phil, Many dogs will tremble or shake when excited. Other reasons, can be being cold, being nervous or scared, or when they get very emotional about something. By the way, is the trembling all over the body, or just one or two legs? (Which can mean something entirely different).
Hi Elana, All over the body. He trembles when he gets excited, or when my wife tells him he is going to get washed (which he hates.... )
Yes I have 6 of these little terrors & shaking is a JRT trademark - nothing to worry about unless dog is vomiting at same time.
