Pyrenean Mountain Dog Discussions

That sounds so like Bruno. Unfortunately they bought him at 3 months and his only socialisation had been with a horse so he already had some attitude. In those days I don't think there were any puppy classes and so, because of his reaction to other dogs, he was kept away, mostly, as they found it too stressful. He was so imperious - I've seen pics of him and he was absolutely stunning but apparently he didn't even like visitors coming to the home.

It's very sad really as I think with some work, he could have been a happier dog and not feeling he had to be on guard all the time.

The one I met in Ireland was a SWEETIE! We met him in one area then later on in the day in another and he remembered me. He was aloofly tolerating all these idolising people and when I went up to him, his ears went back and he wagged his tail - AND DROOLED ALL OVER ME EW! I was made-up.
