Tell me about your Golden Retrievers :)

General stuff, anything you want :D

Just watched something on TV and seen the most beauuuuuuutiful GR on there and got me thinking that the only ones I know round here are overweight and old, and we rarely meet any, only ever really Labs!

    So was curious of experience?
How well do they train? Health issues? Temperament? Exercise needs?

    Plus pics... usual stuff!

I posted a thread on GRs earlier also :)

If you want to see some truly stunning examples, look at sites belonging to working GR breeders - beautiful!

Looking forward to reading the responses you get to this thread :)

    Ohh will do!

It's weird that we have totally different dogs, yet seem to have the same taste in dogs!

    This is Rosie

She was fifteen years old when I lost her and she was never overweight in her life. Goldies do like their food but like any dog they only get fat if you feed them too much.

This is Maisie at one year

She's from working lines so a bit smaller and leggier than my first goldie.
