    Tikva has a new bed

She sleeps in the same crate - lined with a puppy pee pad, well would you like to sleep on a plastic bed? And she had a nice fluffy pad at the sleeping end which she curls up on. In the summer she has a soft blankie which is folded for her to curl up on.

But. Tikki now has a soft padded full size sleeping cushion pads for sleepies on, and she gave me he stinkeye because she says it is too big?

She says she wants her small sleepy pad that she can curl up on and does not want the new one.

Do I have a crazy little Tikki or am I the crazy one?

Naughty mummy trying to give her something new and special !
I remember when my boys were toddlers and had “ comfort “ blankets.
We had to have spares and swap them as they slept so we could could wash them of all the grime
Every time, they knew it wasn’t “ their “ blanket and you could see it their eyes that they weren’t happy until they got them back. I speak in plural as I have twins !
To answer your question Tikki is not crazy, just a very clever girl !

Twins? Oh 'eck. I am a twin and my daughter was twins but the other one died in utero. And I lost another pair of twins after her, but... my daughter had her Rabbit - the first toy I bought her and it was taken into the operating room with her when she had her first surgery. And put back in her arms before she even came round. And you do not know what a performance I put up when they would not let me go into the ICU. But I WON! Not just for me but for all the future mommies to let them go to their babies following surgery.

I do not remember how many times I re-covered it but even though I had bought spare ones, only Rabbit would do. And she did not mind if it was washed or had a new cover because she knew it was Rabbit. The new ones she did not want to know.

My son had his cot quilt that he used to fold and put under his pillow when he went from a cot to a bed. He called it Dootie. He never snuggled it - he just wanted it with him, and he would bring it to me to wash when I was doing the washing. The only time he asked for it was when he fell through the synagogue ceiling and I had to telephone my neighbour who had my key to please go in and get it and bring it to the ER.

Tikva has a number of soft sleeping pads - and blankets for the summer - and she does not care that I change them every other day. She just seemed to object to a lovely soft comfy full size sleeping mat.

That little dog is [whispering so she does not hear me] stark raving loony bonkers! :043:

Falling through a synagogue ceiling, I’m sure there aren’t many people can claim to have done that, let alone survive !
