    The GSD style of herding isn't like you see Border Collies and such do, like short bursts of high speed. They are a tending dog, their job is to be a living, moving fence.

    The GSD style consists primarily of boundary patrol, or flock containment, to keep the sheep on land intended for grazing and away from farmer’s crops Ect; moving around the flock, bringing them to the graze, to market, back home, hence the term living fence.






    I think Samantha is a credit to her age and an inspiration for all youngsters.




    I just love this video (though with not as many dogs,) it reminds me of my childhood.
