Hello, I've been looking for a Pomeranian pup for a little while now but I can't find the details for many reputable breeders who are registered with the council. I'd like to make sure that I'm buying from an ethical breeder and not a puppy farm - although I'm not so concerned about the pup coming from a good line of dogs (i.e. breeder doesn't have to breed for shows). Can anyone recommend some good breeders in the West Midlands? I'm in Staffordshire but will happily travel to Derbyshire, Warickshire, and nearby counties. Thanks!
Google KC Assured Breeders, and select Pomeranians. You can then select the local area that you are interested in. Alternatively, Google The Pomeranian Club UK - you will probably find it interesting. The secretary should be able to advise you of breeders in your area. Breed Club membership usually involves signing up to a stringent code of ethics. Well done on looking for a responsible breeder. Good luck!
