Hello Shiba owners, I’ve just got a shiba puppy. The breeder gave me her APRI. When she first came home, she did look like a shiba inu, but she has changed for a week. She is a lovely dog. My husband and I are wondering if she is a real shiba inu. Please help.
What is making you think that she might not be a Shiba? What has changed in a week? She looks like one to me, but they are not a common breed, and we are only seeing your photos, not the actual puppy. Google Shiba Inu puppy pictures, - there are hundreds - and see how those examples compare to your girl. Remember that she is going to go through stages as she grows, and will eventually shed her puppy coat.
