14 week old staff pups, obedience and crate training.

What would the obstacles be to having a staffie at 14 weeks old? My query is mostly aimed at obedience training and to what level crate training would need to exist.

I am not sure what your question is.

Are you asking how much your dog should be obeying you and doing as it is told at 14 weeks old ?

At 14 weeks, you are coming to the end of the socialisation window so you would have to get the pup out and about as much as possible to meet as much as possible in a very positive way. Hopefully, whoever bred the dog would have started the process for you by introducing pup to many things whilst still with them.

Crate training is a matter of personal choice. Some never crate train at all, preferring instead to puppy-proof a room. However, should you wish to crate train, this would be done the same as with a younger puppy.

Staffies are usually receptive to training and enjoy the process so you shouldn't have too many problems.
