    Adding another Dachshund to the family?

    Hi,

    We have a beautiful choc and tan smooth haired mini dachshund who is nearly 5 months. We would like to add another dachshund girl to the family but before we did wanted to do our research on how other people got on and any tips.

    My advice would be to wait until your girl is older and fully trained before adding another :)

    I have 2 Dachshunds, both rescues... they are great buddies and so very snuggly with eachother. Mouse was 2 when I adopted 6.5 year old Boo. though Mouse and Oliver my largeish terrier mix were only a few months apart in age, and what a crazy time THAT was! LOL. Oliver was 8 months old when I adopted 5 month old Mouse.
