We've just been out doing Bongo's puppy-class homework, going on public transport (she was very good!) While we were by the shops I took her into the hardware store to get some rawlplugs and screws (obviously not for dogs) and a man stopped us and said "Is that an Irish Terrier?" Hurrah! There are people who realise she is not a hairy, ginger whippet He also said she was very nice, which I'm always pleased to hear, and is clearly true
Well done Bongo I really like Irish Terriers have a friend who breeds them. My Borzois get called long haired greyhounds, salukis and Afghans and on the odd occasion someone actually gets it right but not very often.
I would have thought that Borzois wre better known than Salukis at least, especially because of the wonderful, wise Borzoi in Lady and the Tramp: "Aaaah, but even the Tramp has his achilles heel..." LMAO at "What make of dog?" I guess not everybody spent their childhood poring over books about dogs in an effort to learn every dog breed known to man
