    Douge De Bordeux

    Hi all,

    I have a 9 month old Douge (Ralfy) and was wondering if anyone who keeps this breed has had trouble with their skin and weight? I would be most greatful if they could give me some advice.

    Hi, yes, they can suffer with skin disorders. My Tia developed a rash on her hind quarters, and I used to spray Tea Tree lotion on to it (buy it at any good pet shop), and eventually it went away. I find she gets worse in the heat.

    What are the symptoms? I've found that they are quite susceptible to demodex.

    hello,
    if its both her skin and weight thats an issue, you may find that its diet related, so perhaps a food intolerance.

    What are her symptoms and what do you currently feed?
