    Did a member mention this breed recently ??

    Just posted a rescue grand in the rescue section was shocked to see one ...
    Are they really rare in the uk.??

    I remember there was a discussion about them and the griffons on that 'Dream Breed' thread... I'm sure that is the one anyway :lol:

    I think they're still quite rare yeah. Certainly not a common breed!

    I've seen two being exercised on a park in Norwich. I wanted to "show off" to the owner that I knew what breed they are but he was too far away! :blush: When you do have a rare breed it is really surprising when someone actually knows what they are.

    Seriously-they are very impressive looking dogs -but HUGE!

    I met a rescued one in my local high street last year... he was quite impressive and very tall, but I didn't like his John Wayne back legs as he walked away from me... he looked like he'd just got off a very broad horse!

    I have no idea if they are all like that, perhaps he was just a bad example. Just did not like that kind of movement at all :(
