Hey everyone, my name is Nat and I own a crazy little Griffon Bruxellois called Chica. She is 8 months old and my first dog. See attached pic to check out her cuteness. Looking forward to talk to people who have the same breed and share the same love for dogs. I am wanting to train Chica and am looking into different techniques so keen to hear tips and tricks from people. Nat & Chica.
Hello and welcome from me, Pepe the poodle and Bogie the spaniel - and an especially big welcome from Chico the Chihuahua. Chica is beautiful - I know Griffons are very intelligent and it will be great fun training her. I'm pretty sure someone here who has had Griffons in the past will be along very soon to say hello!
Chica is adorable! a lovely little black rough Griffon! I used to breed Griffs many years ago but only reds, both rough and smooth. Training them? Well, they are so very intelligent that they learn very quickly but they are also stubborn, independent little dogs that sometimes only do things if they decided that they want to, not because you want them to do it! Mind you, the fact that I had a number of them made life more difficult as it almost seemed like a joint decision as to what they would do! I should imagine though as a singleton Chica should be much easier as Griffs really do want to please their humans. Have you learned how to hand-strip Chica yet, and are you going to show her? I look forward to seeing many more photos of her as I really miss my Griffons
