hi there, tryin to get some idea of what breeds my dog chief is a mix of, cheers

Hi there, just very curious as to what breeds my dog chief consists of for 2 reasons. firstly i would like to know how big hell get, he was 6.4 kilos after 9 weeks and secondly I would like to do a bit of research in order to understand his needs better. This is my first dog and i do not know much but in my opinion hes a mix of german sheapard, doberman and lab, maybe even rottwieller. Please tell me if the pictures arent clear enough, thanks in advance.....................thank you for all your help ive pretty much got a good ide of what he is now. I tried to take a few more clearer and appropraite pics, hopefully they are more useful, enjoy [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

he is a wee beauty, I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with him, most important thing to do with him from a very young age is socialisation, no matter what breed he is x

He's a little cutie whatever he's mixed with, but quite honestly, some of the pics aren't clear enough to make a decision. In the face close up, I can definitely see a black lab, the ears I can see gsd, the colourings maybe rottie??? I dunno really! He's just sooooo cute, enjoy him!

    dobe x german shepard
    or even dobbie x rottie
Im no expert but thats what I see!!!
But if you go onto dogbreed info have a look on the cross breed dogs or designer breed and they have a list of 1 st generation breed x dogs you can have a look through the pic of dobie x rottie or german shepard x or what ever other breed you think he is and have a look and compare your dog to those pics!
It may help you find out...or ya could ask the person you got him off! lol
    Welcome to dogsey...hope this helps!

I think the tan markings are coming up to high {inner thighs } and from what I can see they go right up inside the front legs,,for dobe or rottie, they are very pale too, he also lacks pencil marks on his toes and those tell take ginger eyebrows, so to me defo GSD, I remember when I got Logan My gsd, the markings grew with ages so to speek, Im pretty sure this wee lads will to,,,so Im going for GSD, x Not sure,,, the fussy ears are sooooo cute, x

I would say GSD for sure, don't forget the tan points can come from GSD alone, there doesn't have to be dobe or rott (although there could be, it just doesn't mean there automatically is) from the shade of tan i'd say it came from a GSD. One of mine looked like a wee rottie pup as a baby and she is GSD/Greyhound/Ridgeback.

His head looks very GSD to me. As he grows he may change colour, Sadie looks nothing like she did as a pup now and that's typical of a GSD pup to change a lot in markings as they grow.

Would be better to judge when he is fully grown. He's an absolute sweetheart though!

he defianatly is a handsome lad.

inpic 3 i can see lab

in pic 2 and 9 i can see GSD

just cause his blcak and tan doesnt nessescarilly(sp) mean he is a rottie or doby mix

i would say he is lab x GSD
