I would like an info, on what to do of my Japanese chin has only one testicle. I don't want him have surgery. He is now 7 months old. Or can it be possible to have surgery on one side and keep the other ball to breed.?
    Thank you

Cryptorchids should not be bred from because their offspring will carry the same defective genes.

As far as I know a testicle which has not "dropped" but is somewhere inside the abdomen and left there, can cause it to become cancerous if not removed.

I agree with @GsdSlave regarding never breeding from a crypochord due to defective genes. If you wish to use him as a stud dog with this condition, you will only be passing the defective gene onto any puppies he might sire.

If you had bought him with the intention of using him for breeding, why did you not check him before purchasing him?
