Our 10-yr-old Bichon is at the beginning of kidney issues (based on his numbers) and the vet suggested a low phosphorous diet. We are looking at: Darwin's Farmer's Pet Dr. Harvey's but the info is dizzying. Any recommendations from folks who have switched their pooch to a low-phosphorous KD diet? thx
I presume these are US brands, and as a Brit, I really can't comment. I hope one of our US members may drop by and advise. Have you thought about home cooking for him? Good quality lean meat and veggies.
