Since we brought Mouse home the wife has always held him or snuggled with him. Last night mouse wanted held. Lmao and just so happened I had the camera infront of me.
Adorable pictures, all of them, but I should think that gorgeous Mouse is a wee bit too big [and heavy] to lay on your wife or sit on her lap now though!
Oh they still snuggle like crazy, now it's just more her laying on him lol. Here is the 2 of them a few days ago when I got home.
Great pictures! Our pups are delicate in comparison...only sixty pounds But all lap dogs just the same
You're so lucky to have a cuddly dog ... I'm quite jealous! Georgina's never been cuddly ... she's very much a " I van't to be alone darlink" sort of girl! I do have hopes with Gwylim even though his timing is a bit out and he seems to think cuddles means waking me up at two in the morning!
My little Eddie doesn't like to be cuddled, and I do so miss having a cuddly dog. He will climb up and go to sleep on Charles' knee, but will only sit next to me - never on my knee. He goes all tense if I lift him on. Nothing has ever happened to upset him. Does anyone have any guesses why they have such quirky behaviour?
@CaroleC - the only time Pereg will get on my lap is if I am trying to rest on my recliner or watch television, which is a bit of a bind as it is not a full width one and she overflows my lap [and blocks the TV screen]. She is also rather heavy for me and it is none to comfortable on my rather skinny legs! She will have a wee cuddle while she has her mantra at night but then hops over me to lay alongside my feet and lower legs. Little one, who was never more than 6kg was very happy sitting curled up on my lap, but she also used to go down to the end of the bed after she had had her cuddle and mantra at night.
What a lovely big soft baby, If I sit down I instanly have three pugs on me lap, Then I can't move coz there all snoring there heads off.
