    New Maremma Puppy

    Hello: I'm expecting! My Maremma Sheepdog puppy arriving in a couple of weeks. I'm studying all information I can find on training and setting up my puppy to succeed in her new job. She will be guarding 3 goats, a potbellied pig and a couple dozen chickens. My chickens are penned up now but hoping to be able to let them free range with my new helper.

    Her name will be Emmy Lou. She will be 10 weeks old. I very excited to get her. It's going to be very hard to leave her in the livestock field but I know I have to.
