NI on Amal Cops South Africa!!

I kid you not, Im watching it! As much an NI as I have seen on here ever!

lol.. what was it a gsd cross, a husky cross, a mal cross, a weimy cross, mastiff cross or a combination of all of the above?

They said a crossbreed, a Shepherd Husky cross, which is what they look like.

You know someone gave me a book yesterday about Wolves..

In this book was a bit about Jed..the lead dog from Call of the Wild..He was 1/4 wolf 3/4 malamute..

Now he had a mal look (obviously) so if there is mal in NI why doens't there look like there is

probably cross bred mals a long way back. I still think there wasn`t many pure bred animals used.. i do know Eddie had siberian huskies and gsd.. but which of these were added to the mix.. God only knows. I know of someone who was a close friend of Eddie and was there at the beginning.. and she confirmed that weimeranas were also used.

thought I'd post this here too as I wouldn't want her to be missed, not too far removed from the N.I I have seen ?

It's a shame we don't know who the dog in the picture is but it is a possibility they are not very well bred (their ear set alone is not typical - they are too large and also rather high set). She is also on the large size for a bitch and the comment just refers to her as a lovely companion - no mention of show results or even a registered name.

If you scroll down the page there are pictures of other dogs that, to me, do not resemble NI's

This is a timberwolf x malamute - don't think it looks like a mal either.

Actually if you scroll down I think they look more like Utes

To me, the NI looks like all of the below:

Husky x GSD
Husky x poor Mal
Husky x GSDx
GSD x (various)

I honestly think any of those crosses would show people say is an NI, they vary so much.

A shepherd husky cross is not an NI whether it looks like one or not.

Point being, who could tell?

WHy not?? how many of these type of dogs have been sold across the country under the NI flag becuase they LOOK like them..

Debate on what? Whether a GSD cross Husky looks like an NI, YES it does, it was all the world like an NI, that TYPE!!

Which breed are you referring to.. the GSD or the mal or the sibe.. its the only breeds I mentioned..I am friendly and welcoming to all 3 breeds.. I used to own one of them, own the other and did breifly think about owning the other
