Anyone else on here got an Ormskirk Heeler (aka a Lancashire Heeler, or just a Heeler?) Is it just me?! Surely not! I love them and wouldn't be without mine. He is a dear little dog who just loves to work and puts 100% into everything he does (apart from sitting still )
i used to work for a woman who bred and showed them during the 1980s, great little dogs with a good temperament but very 'busy'!
Yes - 'busy' is definitely the word!!! Always plenty to say for themselves too;-) I absolutely love mine, even if he is currently picking up all sorts of papers and books from my office and presenting them to me in the hope I will share my lunch If that fails, the staring meaningfully and muttering will begin........ Definitely a big dog in a small dog's body!
