I'm adopting a puppy from a farm a few hours away and they were stated to be border collie/blue heeler mixes. They were ALL born with bob tails, as the mom had one. The mom looks like a border collie (black and white) but she was very small, almost the size of a mini aussie. The dad was much bigger, blue merle, and stated as to be the blue heeler mix ( doesnt look like one, but also not sure what he really DOES look like.) Im including pictures for references. Our puppy basically looks like a blue merle aussie, but stated was a border collie so I'm not sure if thats true since they were all born with bob tails. Just want to know what kind of mutt she would be called when people ask haha.
Maybe mum could be a BC x with a Heeler or Corgi (could account for the bob tail) if she is a farm dog, Corgi and Heelers are both herding breeds, the sire I would say ACD possibly crossed with a BC or ASD. I would just call her a farm dog mutt or BC type mutt
