    Portuguese Podengo - virtually unknown?

I have links with Portugal so as you can imagine, I find the dogs rather interesting. One is a podengo, they are cute wee hounds coming mainly in pequeno (small) but also found in médio and grande. I have found them to be virtually unknown with people I've talked to so I thought I'd tell you guys about them
Sadly, that's about all the info I've got :005: It was just to make people aware they exist. I've heard of a breeders in the UK but there's not many, though they aren't shown on the import register (is that what you call it? )
Also, they aren't hounds but other Portuguese breeds are cool too. Here's a wee list...
Portuguese water dog, serra de estrela mountain dog, cão de serra de Aires (no idea if that is good spelling or not!)
Just thought I'd mention them 8)

My friend has a podengo; the smaller one. Its quite like a scruffy JRT, lovely nature too. <3 I'd quite like one.
