    Hand stripping

    hi. I have a long haired rough coated PRT who is 6 months old. At what age should he first be hand stripped?

    The easiest time is when the coat 'blows'. It starts to look dull, stands away from the body, and you can pull several hairs out by tugging them between your finger and thumb. Your groomer will probably check that the coat is ready before starting to strip it.
