    Potty training

    Hey everyone,
My Boston terrier, Larry, is going to be 1 in October. We are having a very tough time potty training him. Unfortunately me and my husband work full time. We have a dog walker that comes in the afternoon. We tried to train him with potty pads, but that didn’t work. All of his accidents were concentrated to one room so we closed that room off so he doesn’t have access. But he still has accidents. On the weekends when we are home he can hold for at least four hours, and there is only four hours between when we take him out and the dog walker. I don’t think he is incapable of holding it. I think he feels like he can go wherever he wants. It’s hard to discipline because we are not home to catch in in the act. We are considering a porch potty and doggy door possibly. Otherwise we are at a loss right now. He will go days without an accident and then go right back to it. If we leave him alone for even an hour he will go in the house, even if we take him out right before we go.
Any ideas? Suggestions? I’m willing to try anything.
    Thanks!

Does he have accidents when you are at home with him?
