Hi All I was just wondering what vehicles you all use for transporting your Berner particularly when going on holiday. We have a one year old BMD (Scooby) and 2 kids, we now tend to holiday in the UK and also like to camp a lot but as Scooby fills the boot of our Skoda Superb. We then have to pile the rest of the luggage on top of the kids which doesn't make for the most relaxing journey. A roof top box was considered but they aren't that big. Any suggestions / recommendations?
Not sure of UK vehicle choices. But used a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer and 2009 Chevy Silverado ( king cab) for me and wife along with my 220lb English mastiff, and many times have the 9 and 11 year old grandkids with us. Fits everyone and camping gear quite nicely when we go once a year for a week with them.
I wonder if something like a Fiat Doblo would work for you. I used to have the van version which I found excellent. I imagine the car version would still have a fair bit of room
