    Pom pup?

Hi! Recently got a new puppy, and the lady told me she is a Pomeranian. I don’t know a ton about poms (although I’ve been reading about them a lot lately) does she look like a Pomeranian?

Hello - did you see the puppy with its mother and littermates, and were you given any registration papers for her?

At her age, she just looks like a puppy. Could be any number of breeds. If you wait a few weeks, her looks will start to change and you'll have a better chance of identifying on looks

Not sure. She has Pom characteristics but doesn't have the density of coat as I would have expected. Also, Poms usually have tiny ears that are almost hidden in the coat. Is there any chance that she could be crossed with L.C. Chihuahua?
When you buy a pedigree dog you should get a pedigree, and a KC registration certificate from the breeder, (and a microchip registration paper too). Without these you are really trusting to luck. You can purchase a dna test to verify the breed.
