    Flea Treatment

    Hi all

We got our puppy at the weekend and he needs some flea treatment, most of them that I've seen are for puppies that are 2kg and over or ones under 2kg state that the puppy need to be 8 weeks and over. I have weighed him today and he is 1600g and isn't 8 weeks until later this week.

    Any ideas?

Ask at your vet practice. You will be needing advice about his vaccinations anyway.

I agree to ask your vet.

Flea treatment varies depending on the area - some treatments become less effective over time, so vets will recommend a different version.

Also, don't forget to treat your home and yard. I really like the Zodiak brand for that (if available where you are located). The trick with treating the home and yard is to treat them both (and the pets) on day one, then treat the home and yard again on day 14.
