Looking for a previous Irish Setter owner, with no current dogs. Rehoming a 2 year old female. Intense resource guarding which means she doesn’t get on with our elderly dog and for health reasons we need to rehome. Will be intensive vetting, slow introduction and home visits. Must be Yorkshire based so this is possible. Reply if interested.
I suggest you reach out to a rescue group. They can help you vet potential homes to ensure she goes to a good home. Posting on the internet is going to get you a lot of bad people wanting her.
There seem to beat least four Irish Setter rescue organisations listed on Google. The Irish Setter Breed Club, the Midland Breed Club, an Independent Irish Setter Rescue and an Irish Setter Rescue and Rehome which appears to be based in he East Midlands, which appears to have links to the parent breed club.
