    Looking for a standard Poodle

    Good Morning,

i am looking for a standard poodle. i'd really like one who would be good to be a service dog. currently at home we have a Llasa Alpso( my husbands dog) and a toy poodle. she is more of a teacup at 3.5 pounds. She is the most loving dog. very much like a emotional support dog. As far a a standard i did have a deposit down but bad experience with the breeder so i pulled out. honestly a little nervous now. i havent had a bad experience buying a pet like this. i guess thats why i am here to seek recommendations if anyone has one. I live in New Hampshire but willing to travel within reason.
if anyone has ny recommendations that would be great there is one i am looking at in southern NH but again just nervous. Thank you!

Since you are wanting the dog to be a service dog, I would contact services for that disability and see if they have any recommendations for a breeder. For example, if you're wanting the service dog to perform tasks related to epilepsy, then contact an epilepsy support group or a medical specialist, etc, and see if it they can offer a breeder that others with the same issue have gotten puppies from. You can also contact other disability groups whose service dog tasks would be similar to what you are looking for.

That would give you the best chance of success in finding a puppy that has the right temperament to be a service dog and/or have the qualities to perform the tasks you desire.
