It is a real wagon that sits in front of the Stovepipe Wells campground gift shop in Death Valley. They decorate it at Christmastime. Looney2 was just 4 months old there. He was such a little boy - now he can stand on his hind legs and see the top of the counter.
I hope everyone is enjoying. We've had storms rolling in over the past couple days, with just overcast and on and off rain for over the past week. Thunder, lightning, rain and even hail during the day yesterday and earlier today, and huge winds and rain during the nights. I'm seeing an actual blue sky today for the first time in weeks. Hoping for no winds tonight - I'd like to actually sleep. Last night around 1 am, I had to run outside and secure a patio umbrella that came open in the wind - I can't believe Santa couldn't take a moment to fix it for me as he passed overhead.
It's cold here, but the sun is very bright. We have had a snow warning for next weekend, but I'll believe it when it happens. Hope not, Little Tal has a show on the predicted day. I'm hearing on TV that four areas of S. California have had heavy rain, there is flooding and some residents have had to be evacuated. I hope this is short lived and everything returns to normal very soon.
