Ben came from a litter advertised in the yellow free ads in 1998/99. He was from a home breeder and cost £250. He is registered with the KC and I saw both parents who were living in the same house. He was the last boy in the litter left and at the time I wanted the last girl left, but my husband insisted on having the boy.
Zak is from the Loot free adds, he has no papers cost £150 in 2002 from Bolton Zeita is from a researched breeder in Nottingham she is from Agios GSDs KC reg and cost loads more than Zak lol
My first GSD cost me 8 guineas in 1958 & came from the Brittas Kennels in Ireland. My last GSD was bred by my Dad from two GSDs imported from Germany. My next GSD will come from Germany on a Pet Passport & will be bred by my German friend who works her dogs & is involved with the Search & Rescue Dogs
My GS bitch came from a home breeder in Cumbernauld in 1984, we picked her cause she was fluffy n fat lol
sadie came from north derbyshire. From a working line breeder. Yoda came from buckinghamshire- I waited a year for him from my friend that bred him.
My first GSD bitch was a failed police dog and I bought her from Lancashire Police for around £125 (I think). She did come with pedigree papers. She was a great introduction to the breed, taught me an awful lot and I will never, ever forget her. She was a black/gold standard coat. My second bitch was from Sorumour in Essex and was out of a Foxfold dog. I had seen a lot of Foxfold dogs on the local obedience circuit and liked their attitude, temperament and looks, so made the long journey from North Lancashire to Essex. She cost £450 and is KC registered. She is my special girlie and soul mate. She is a black/gold longcoat. My third shep, a male, came from Kazeti GSDs in Leicestershire. He was more expensive than the other two, but worth every penny. He is everything I have ever wanted in a GSD - having looks, health and a temperament to die for. He is my loveable clown and is a black/gold longcoat, KC reg. I will definitely be going back to his breeders for another longcoat GSD in the future.
Daisy was from Vigil GSD rescue http://www.vigilgsdrescue.co.uk/ Holly from GSD Welfare, Essex Sheba because her owner had died. Lucy from a local breeder Sheila from the paper (free to good home)
My first GSD I bought jn 1971 for £35 an awful lot then,His sire was a "Ramacon" have to look up his Mother but was from Germanlines Jeanette
i had a lovely cuddle with these last week!!! My friends litter!!! http://s154.photobucket.com/albums/s245/chrish_022/ no im not having one!!!!!!
You know you would like a ikkle baby!!!!! Well mum does abit of Ag (& ob) dad is high drive ob!!!! not your type at all!!!!! theres 9!!!!! they are so cute, really 4ward pups too!!!!
you shoul see them now, huge & chunky, we were socialising them on monday night, thought my arms were going to drop off!
I'd still take the lot - the bigger and chunkier the better. Zane used to be like that but now he's very lean with his back leg muscles showing, but also very deep chested and is very aloof and dignified when walking (or so it seems to people who don't knwo him). Yiannis is still and the chunky fluffy stage - I can imagine having 9 of 'em running about creating havoc! It would be great! Laura xx
My Prince came from Brighton. Im the 4th home he's had I believe. I have never seen his paper work or mum and dad. And he appears to be of English Obedience lines from what others on here think
i bought odin from a breeder in north wales Freya is odins daughter who i choose instead of a stud fee jenna came to me as a 14 month old from a very good friend Kora i bred my self she is odin and jennas daughter jo
My first dog (male) was a guard dog who mum and dad fell in love with and bought from his owner and brought him home for me! Don't know his breeding, coz I was only 10 at the time. I bought Suzi from a byb coz I didn't know any different, but wanted another one as soon as I left home. We then had Tara who was given to me at 18 months old by a breeder, who had started breeding collies and didn't want her anymore:-( We later on got Sacha from a KC registered breeder, but have to say, she was nothing like the dog they said she would be, she was shortcoated, dog aggressive, and had illnesses most of her life, sadly:-( Then we bought Cassie and I did a lot of research, so that I knew she would be a longcoat and the breeders came highly recommended to me, working lines, from Liss in Hampshire and she was very expensive at £750 14 years ago! Then we got Georgie, my first male, and he was given to me via the dog warden route coz his owner had died, and I just happen to be very friendly with our local dog warden and Dave had fallen in love with Georgie when he saw him with a dogwalker one day! Then we have Zena, who comes from a very reputable obedience working line breeder, Joevaness, dad being a Foxfold (The Fox at Foxfold), and she is my most beautiful, clever, loving one yet! I would like another one of her in the future if I'm lucky enough
