Its likely that pet insurance is impossible to get for this breed so who will pay vet bills?
I'd narrowed it down to Cher or Chantal, both are a nice shape. Sometimes it's hard when you have too much choice! Parents are stunning, no wonder...
It's possible that (apart from the reasons already given why the vets won't spay the St Bernard) they are prone to heart problems and don't cope well...

Like PB&J our dogs (fortunately) have had no reason to be protective and they are friendly to accepted visitors. They do tend to object to pigeons...
