You see Pits you see Am staffs you see Red nose and all the Irish staff dogs that have appeared over the last few years ..

Yes they just rename them, am staff is a common one, red nose, blue nose. We saw one advertised for stud, not far from us, it was walked openly, a pretty scary site, especially as it had obviously been used for fighting. It was lunging towards our dog and little boy, the local police said there's nobody trained to identify them so pretty much said nothing they could do. I don't condone putting dogs to sleep but its the type of people that breed these dogs, using them for fighting that are the problem. They need specialist caring owners.

when i went into our local pet shop on saturday, there was a young lad with a gorgeous puppy. he said it was a staffy/rotweiler cross. apparently the staffy was the mam. it had got beautiful markings, and really long skinny legs. i'll be keeping an eye out for it to see how it develops.

I was speaking about Staffs and Pits the other day to some lass I sold a hamster cage and she openly told me she owned a Pit, she just called it an Irish Staff and would easily get me one if I wanted...............
