With Murf posting threads of rare and exotic bull breeds, I ended up link hopping and being glued to the Gull Terr They are said to be descendants from the Hinks Bull Terrier's that were taken over to India at the time of the British Raj - and seem to be fairly close to the original dogs from all those years ago. There are basically three main breeds, two that the Brits took over (or are closely related to dogs taken over) the Bully Kutha which is the huge mastiff type and the Gull Terr (the Hinks Bull Terrier type) then ther's the Gull Dong, a cross between the two. My fave is the smallest of the three, the Gull Terr - they look so agile and athletic, and I like their naturally standing ears. Would be nice if an ethical breeder willing to breed out undesirable traits brought some over... I could be tempted!
I think those are 'recreated' Hinks BTs? I think I'd be interested in a GT if there were any genuine ones around - shame so many of those breeders are not really representing them in the best light.
