Sorry just read your post again and of course it makes perfect sense told you I was half asleep Where are her litter mates I wonder?
She looks just like phoebe as a puppy so im going with bullmastiff. Will see if i have a photo to compare
To me her nose looks a little too long and unwrinkled for a bull mastiff, but at her age she could grow in all sorts of directions over the next year or so. I can see that being a large breed you wouldn't want to walk her too far while young but to say no walking until 9 months sound risky in terms of socialising and habituating to me, even if it's just walking her 100 yds up and down the outside pavement a couple of times a day.:? Like the kangaroo comment
That's what I thought too... I think that could easily go wrong if the new owners don't walk her for all that time...
i've got two rescue bullmastiff but never saw them as babe, but thinking cross maybe, although my female has a long muzzle similar to hers so could be totally wrong
She could have like Dillon does regulated exercise surely and free running most of the time and most of the time on grass so they can rest when they need too then move on. Also harness and long line gives you some control over controlling the running into walking and trotting when they have had a few short zoomies. Dillon lost a lot of muscle in the month he had to be rested from 5 months to 6 months so surely her muscle would not be substantial and a dog of this size needs good muscle epecially around the hips. She is gorgeous.
