Little Tal found her lost brain cell tonight, and passed her Kennel Club Good Citizen Test, (Bronze level). Proud Mum Day! I don't think she is as sharp as Eddie and Merry were, but we are optimistically signing up for the Silver Test course.

Thanks Chris. She has done well as she was only trained for breed showing in her first home, and then missed so much training due to Charles and my poor health. Tally will never make an obedience dog, but I couldn't work a competition round these days. We are having fun learning at the club, and enjoying the company.
My little girl has done it again! Passed her KC Silver award last night! My eyes don't enjoy night driving these days, and we've had so much snow and ice this week that I'm having a break before we try for the Gold, but we will be keeping up bribing - I mean training - at home.
Way to go Tally!!!! You are a force to be reckoned with! Carole, I got a pair of glasses with a yellow tint (through Zenni). I was really surprised at how much more detail I see at night and in that dull grey stormy weather. I now keep them in the car so I always have them handy.

Not a perfect test, Tally's brakes were a little late coming on the emergency STOP! She did enough in the rest of the test to be forgiven though. Well pleased with my little girl tonight.
Tally is such a lovely girl, and she has done so well to get Gold Award! Tikva would fail just on everything. I did try to find a picture with Beagles, with no luck, but at least they were hounds to congratulate you both.
Congratulations Carole and Tally. A wonderful achievement. I bet your trainer was thrilled too. I used to have a smile on my face for days after the tests when folks and their dogs passed. Well done
This is our fourth Gold. Tweed was the first, followed by Beagles - Eddie, Merry and Tally. A little harder for the last two as they were middle aged mums who had only been trained for the ring. There's no point in insisting on style or accuracy, more fun for them to think that training means a game that we play for special rewards.
