I bet he is keeping you occupied Jackie - especially all this grooming how are you finding it? He's looking great
That's an understatement Azz .... He keeps us on our toes he can be a darling, but it's wrapped up in a devil. He is driven by his hormones at the moment and I keep threatening him with having those little plums chopped off if he does not behave. This breed is hard work, they are to intelligent for their own good, keeping them in full coat is time consuming, specially as he is in coat change ( puppy to adult ) as you can see in first pic, you have to brush the knots out daily or at least every other day, if you want this breed and want to keep them in a lion clip, you have to be prepared for a good groom at best every day or worse every other day, the coat knots up and collects all sorts of stuff .
I'm just beginning to find out how long it takes to groom a dog and Gwylim's only half the size of Figo! Georgie's easy ... apart from constantly wiping her drippy chops dry, she only needs a good brush every day .... and that's her done. The things we mums let ourselves in for.
Yep, your boy is very similar in coat to my Aramis. Do you use any leave in conditioners to avoid tangles?
I thought they looked alike, same white bit on the chest. Yes I slap on loads of conditioner between shows specially legs behind ears and under belly, then I just wash without when showing .
